Increasingly, ‘Change Leadership’ is an area of focus that Wendi and I are being called upon to bring to leaders. Organizations are hiring, promoting, expanding, implementing and evolving in an ever-changing landscape – with a requirement that everyone keep up, keep focused and keep going – in what ends up being quite the marathon…
The fact is: change jolts our brain into a mode that can trip us up and slow us down. Unless we know how to prepare ourself and others for change, we hang back at the start line, creep off behind a bush until the whole thing ‘blows over’ or we sprint so fast only to burn out quickly. Leaders instead can develop ‘change resiliancy’ and give everyone’s brain what it needs during times of change – enrolling others along the change pathway.. in a way that deepens the experience of learning, innovation and adoption.
Our experience in the science of leading change has enabled us to fine tune compelling curriculum and relevant learning that every leader can now benefit from having in their toolkit. We are proud that Calgary continues to be a centre of excellence for this expertize.
